Köyceğiz
Köyceğiz, one of the few "Cittaslow" (slow city) destinations in our country, is a historic district of Muğla. Blending Aegean and Yörük cultures, the district stands out for its tranquility and peaceful atmosphere. It is an exceptional destination for nature tourism, boasting famous rivers, mountains, villages, beaches, and lakes. Reaching Köyceğiz is also extremely easy; the district is located just 35 km from Dalaman Airport.
Kaunos Antik Kenti
The Ancient City of Kaunos, one of the cities of the ancient Carian civilization, currently serves as a museum. The King's Rock Tombs and historical city walls, located outside the museum itself, are also well worth seeing.
Kaunos Kral Mezarları
While there are many rock tombs in our country, the most famous among them are the Kaunos Royal Rock Tombs. They dazzle with their magnificence, set against the backdrop of Dalyan—the point where Köyceğiz Lake meets the Mediterranean.
Köyceğiz Gölü
The district center is situated along the shores of Lake Köyceğiz, and our event will conclude along the waterfront promenade. Waters originating from the surrounding mountains—most notably Mount Sandras—feed Lake Köyceğiz. The lake lies very close to the coast and is encircled by mountains. Lake Köyceğiz hosts rowing and canoeing competitions.
Yuvarlakçay
Yuvarlakçay, famous for the ice-cold water flowing from Topgözü Canyon, attracts visitors in every season. Establishments with diverse concepts are situated along the stream, starting from its source. As a significant freshwater source for the region, Yuvarlakçay feeds Köyceğiz Lake.
Ekincik Koyu
Ekincik Bay, one of the region's most unspoiled bays, features a wide beach. The bay is a key stop, particularly for excursion boats. With its limited number of facilities and settlements, it is a preferred spot for relaxation.
Sandras Dağı
Mount Sandras, with its snow-capped peak, hosts mountaineering activities. Spots offering views of Sandras—such as Gökçeova Lake, Çiçekbaba, and Eren Hill—are popular among the local population.
